Crayola Bomb Peace Sign Earrings Gold Jewelry

Here's the quotation that inspired this World Peace Jewelry series of peace jewelry:

Maybe we should develop a Crayola bomb as our next secret weapon. A happiness weapon. A beauty bomb. And every time a crisis developed, we would launch one. It would explode high in the air, explode softly, and send thousands, millions, of little parachutes into the air. Floating down to earth - boxes of Crayolas. And we wouldn't go cheap, either, not little boxes of eight. Boxes of sixty four, with the sharpener built right in. With silver and gold and copper, magenta and peach and lime, amber and umber and all the rest. And people would smile and get a little funny look on their faces and cover the world with imagination. Robert Fulghum

World Peace Jewelry offers these handcrafted peace sign symbol earrings in a wild and joyful combination of crystals and glass. An explosion of rainbow hues. Each bead is hand wire wrapped with gold jeweler's wire. The earring charm is a gold traditional peace sign symbol. Lots of lovely free movement to these gorgeous peace earrings.

Sterling Silver Cross Faith Necklace

This handcrafted necklace from World Peace Jewelry features a beautifully hand crafted Bali .925 sterling silver Cross pendant. Small in scale, but very ornate and very detailed. Includes a clear faceted crystal in a bezel setting right in the center of the cross. I've framed it with Bali sterling silver beads and long jet black Czech glass ovals, plus clear Rock Crystal Quartz. Lovely sparkles in a simple affirmation of religious faith.

World Peace Jewelry offers one of a kind handcrafted jewelry in themes of peace, love, religious faith and spiritual belief.

Acting from love and kindness is a privilege. Those of us who insist that the solution lies in cooperation and generosity are not on a higher moral plane. We are just less oppressed. from Michael Lerner

Big Chunky Marble Gemstone Jewelry Necklace

I adore the mysterious, earthy look of this very chunky handcrafted gemstone necklace. Huge oval beads of Marble contain an exotic jungle of sensual colors including charcoal grey, deep khaki green, black, apricot, chocolate brown and more. I've combined them with sleek metallic grey Hematite and smaller coordinating Marble oval beads. Sterling silver extender chain does not show, so this necklace is suitable for those who prefer gold jewelry as well. Very exotic. Very sensual. Bold statement jewelry. If you're shy and don't want to be noticed, then don't consider this necklace. You can always find unusual, one of a kind handcrafted jewelry at World Peace Jewelry.

Pearls and Peace

I’ve never met anyone who does not admire pearls.

Pearls are calcified objects made by shellfish from the same material that they use to form their shells. Sand or some other foreign material gets under the skin of an oyster and irritates its skin. In response, the oyster coats the offending grain over a period of time with layers of pearly smooth calcium. The result is a pearl. Pearls are the product of both salt and freshwater oysters. Colors range from silver, cream, gold, green, blue, black and can be dyed. Pearls are found in the Persian Gulf, coasts of Central America and north Australia and Japan.

Pearls have been worn in jewelry by kings and emperors for thousands of years and can be admired in museums all over the world. The pearl jewelry of the Queen of Sheba is legendary. Lucifer is said to have broken his teeth because of his craving for pearls.

Pearls can stabilize the production of hormones. They are also used to alleviate chronic headaches and migraines.

Oysters are feminine in nature - they contain an embryonic object within them - and become tuned to the phases of the moon, which control tidal changes. Pearls are in tune with women, especially pregnant women. Long the symbol of woman’s perfect beauty, pearls also symbolize modesty and purity. A soothing influence, pearls bring feelings of peace and reduces over-sensitivity.

With zodiacal affinity for Cancer, Pearls are also important for all the zodiac signs. Often used as the birthstone for June.

Shown above is a gorgeous handcrafted necklace with creamy white Freshwater Pearls, hand wire wrapped with gold chain. Pendant is a traditional peace sign that I've dangled from an affirmation circle proclaiming Dream.

Onyx a Healing Gemstone

Another special stone for me is black Onyx. My wedding ring is an antique sterling silver setting with a lovely onyx rectangular cab and a little diamond in the center. Plus, I suppose that, being a Capricorn, the stone simply suits me.
Onyx, an agate, belongs to the quartz family. The color is opaque black. Onyx is found in Brazil, India, Madagascar, Mexico, and the United States. Do not confuse it with the yellow, brown, and green “onyx” stones that are varieties of calcite-aragonite.

In ancient times onyx was considered one of the most important healing stone. Onyx was often used as protection from black magic. Whereas a moonstone will “remember” the spiritual events that happen to a person, onyx will “remember” the physical events surrounding a person.

Onyx should be worn over a long period of time because its power develops slowly. It is very effective for skin infections, inflammation and sunburn.

Onyx deflects negative energy and brings inner harmony. Promoting self-confidence and a sense of responsibility, onyx also relieves stress, fights depression, sooths fear. Onyx is said to help the wearer achieve success.

Onyx has a zodiacal affinity with Capricorn, as well as Aquarius, Pisces, Cancer, and Libra.
