New Copper Honey Bee Earrings and Honey Spread Recipe from World Peace Jewelry

We have some new earrings in our online shop that feature charming honey bees.  Which reminded us to share with you an incredible Zesty Honey Spread recipe.  Try this on biscuits or sandwiches.
1 jar apricot preserves
¼ cup honey
3 tbsp horseradish
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp chopped fresh thyme
¼ tsp dried crushed red pepper.
Whisk together in a small saucepan. Cook over midium heat, whisking frequently, 3-4 minutes or until thoroughly heated and sauce is a pourable consistency. Use immediately or store in an airtight container in refrigerator up to one week.

Onyx a Healing Gemstone

Another special stone for me is black Onyx. My wedding ring is an antique sterling silver setting with a lovely onyx rectangular cab and a little diamond in the center. Plus, I suppose that, being a Capricorn, the stone simply suits me.
Onyx, an agate, belongs to the quartz family. The color is opaque black. Onyx is found in Brazil, India, Madagascar, Mexico, and the United States. Do not confuse it with the yellow, brown, and green “onyx” stones that are varieties of calcite-aragonite.

In ancient times onyx was considered one of the most important healing stone. Onyx was often used as protection from black magic. Whereas a moonstone will “remember” the spiritual events that happen to a person, onyx will “remember” the physical events surrounding a person.

Onyx should be worn over a long period of time because its power develops slowly. It is very effective for skin infections, inflammation and sunburn.

As you can imagine, we often use the white dove symbol in our jewelry, but other birds are wonderful symbols for jewelry as well. Quite some time ago I read a quotation about peace that so captured my imagination that I designed a line of my jewelry around it. My Crayola bomb peace jewelry rarely stays in stock for long. I think it's because so many others share my delight in the intention behind it.
